Tai Chi & Lunch: A Refreshing Take on Healthy Aging in Wake Forest

 At Compass Financial Group, we believe that financial health and physical wellness go hand in hand. That’s why we were thrilled to host a special wellness event in partnership with Prosper PT & Wellness: a Tai Chi class focused on healthy aging.

 On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, clients joined us in Wake Forest for an hour-long Tai Chi class designed to support strength, balance, and overall well-being. Led by Prosper PT & Wellness Owner and licensed physical therapist, Kristina Wolfe, the class provided participants with a practical, approachable introduction to the Sun style of Tai Chi—an evidence-based form shown to help prevent falls, support memory, and improve posture and body awareness.

 This class focused purely on the physical benefits of Tai Chi, offering a low-impact workout similar in exertion to a brisk walk. Participants of all fitness levels moved through gentle, mindful sequences that promote mobility and coordination—key factors in aging well.

 After class, we enjoyed a delicious and nourishing lunch at The Lemon Tree Café, just down the street in downtown Wake Forest. It was a great opportunity to relax, connect, and reflect on the importance of investing in your most valuable asset—your health.
